ALTAIR Async Embedded

ALTAIR supports processing up to sixteen Asynchronous Embedded streams per incoming PCM telemetry stream. The parent frame for an Asynchronous Embedded stream can be either the Main Telemetry Frame or another Asynchronous Embedded stream. ALTAIR does not limit the levels of Asynchronous Embedded streams inside of Asynchronous Embedded streams.

Each Asynchronous Embedded stream has its own Frame Synchronizer and Decom. The data from the embedded stream occupies a fixed number and location of decom words per minor frame in the parent telemetry frame. The Asynchronous Embedded stream can be in any combination of word locations in the parent telemetry frame.
