ARCHI-RF

Handheld Portable Standalone Complete RF through PCM Processing System

The new ARCHI-RF system allows the telemetry user to travel without a large computer housing and a standalone 3U PCIe card. The ARCHI-RF system is the size of a textbook and connects to a laptop via Ethernet and is powered either by the laptop’s USB-C PD or a wall adapter that is supplied with the unit. The unit has a graphic display/touchscreen for setup and monitoring as well as can be setup and monitored via any computer (laptop or rackmount) using the Ulyssix ALTAIR software. All inputs/outputs to the ARCHI-RF are via mounted N-Type and BNC connectors on the side of the handheld unit. The ARCHI-RF can interface directly to user developed CH10 or TMoIP software or other commercial software suites with these IP input capabilities.

The ARCHI-RF has 2 independent telemetry receivers that handle RF data from 70 MHz, P/L/S/C Band frequencies and then FM/SOQPSK/BPSK/QPSK/GMSK demodulate the RF data. The ARCHI-RF contains a full function Diversity Combiner that is selectable for Optimum Ratio or Best Source algorithms. The output of the receivers are sent to internal bit sync/frame sync/PCM Decommutator algorithms with also a PCM simulator and IRIG Time Code Reader. The PCM decommuated data from the ARCHI-RF will be available on the user’s laptop running the Ulyssix ALTAIR software (included with the ARCHI system) as well as to a 9.3" x 3.7”, 1600 x 600 HDMI interface with touchscreen capability. Data will be displayed, analyzed, stored, and/or Ethernet transported in either PCM UDP transport, Chapter 10 PCM data packets, Chapter 7 integrated data packets, or TMoIP packets to other users.

There is an optional RF signal source/transmitter capability to send modulated RF data out of the system and then be received by the ARCHI-RF for full ground station including the antennae BERT.

The fully integrated ARCHI-PCM housing contains the Ulyssix Bald Eagle4-RF-PCIe 4th generation, with an embedded small processor card with a PCIe slot for communication to the Tarsus4-PCIe and independent USB-C PD power distribution.
